Some wedding venues offer something truly unique, and The Orangery at Margam Park is certainly one of them. Combining historic elegance with beautiful parkland, it's an incredible setting for couples looking for a memorable South Wales wedding venue. Karl and Angeline's wedding was a wonderful celebration, filled with love, laughter and unforgettable moments from beginning to end. Set within the stunning grounds of Margam Country Park near Port Talbot, The Orangery provides a spectacular backdrop for wedding photography. Its grand architecture, impressive windows and surrounding gardens create endless opportunities for relaxed, natural photographs throughout the day. From the morning preparations through to the evening celebrations, there was a fantastic atmosphere. Family and friends had travelled to celebrate Karl and Angeline's special day, creating a warm, welcoming and joyful occasion that was a pleasure to photograph. The ceremony was full of genuine emotion as Karl and Angeline exchanged their vows surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. My documentary approach allowed me to capture those real moments naturally – the smiles, laughter, happy tears and little glances that often become the couple's favourite memories. Following the ceremony, we explored the beautiful grounds around The Orangery for some relaxed portraits. One of the many reasons I enjoy photographing weddings here is the incredible variety of locations available. The elegant stonework, sweeping lawns, mature trees and magnificent architecture all provide stunning backdrops without needing to travel away from the venue. Karl and Angeline were incredibly relaxed throughout the day, allowing me to capture genuine moments as they unfolded. Rather than spending hours posing for photographs, they were able to enjoy celebrating with their guests while I quietly documented the story of their wedding. As the day continued into the evening, the celebrations continued with plenty of laughter, dancing and unforgettable moments shared with family and friends. It was a wonderful wedding full of personality and happiness from start to finish. A huge thank you also goes to the fantastic team at The Orangery at Margam Park, whose professionalism and attention to detail helped everything run seamlessly. Their friendly approach ensured Karl and Angeline could simply relax and enjoy every moment of their wedding day. It was a real privilege to be part of such a beautiful celebration, and I wish Karl and Angeline a lifetime of happiness together. Planning Your Wedding at The Orangery,
