Jake & Chloe's Beautiful Wedding at Pencoed House Estate | South Wales Wedding Photographer7/28/2026 There are some wedding venues that seem to have everything – stunning countryside, historic charm, elegant architecture and endless opportunities for beautiful photographs. Pencoed House Estate is certainly one of those venues, and it provided the perfect setting for Jake and Chloe's unforgettable wedding day. As a South Wales wedding photographer, it's always a pleasure returning to this beautiful exclusive-use venue. With its magnificent tree-lined driveway, historic Old Hall, contemporary Glasshouse and more than 36 acres of picturesque grounds, every wedding feels unique and every visit offers something new to photograph. A Relaxed Morning Full of ExcitementThe day began with both Jake and Chloe getting ready with their closest family and friends. The morning was filled with laughter, excitement and a few happy tears as everyone prepared for the celebrations ahead. These quieter moments are always some of my favourites to capture. From the wedding dress hanging ready to be worn, to the proud smiles from parents and the excitement shared between bridesmaids and groomsmen, they help tell the complete story of the day. A Beautiful CeremonyThe ceremony was filled with genuine emotion as Jake saw Chloe walking towards him for the very first time. The smiles they exchanged said everything, and it was a privilege to capture such a heartfelt moment. The ceremony spaces at Pencoed House offer a wonderful balance of character and natural light, creating the perfect setting for relaxed, documentary-style wedding photography without ever interrupting the flow of the day. Exploring the Beautiful GroundsAfter the ceremony, we took a relaxed walk around the estate to make the most of the incredible surroundings for their couple portraits. One of the reasons I enjoy photographing weddings here is the amazing variety of backdrops, all within a short walk. From the grand entrance and historic stone buildings to woodland pathways, open lawns and beautifully maintained gardens, every corner offers another stunning location. Because the estate is exclusively yours for the day, couples can enjoy these moments together without feeling rushed. Jake and Chloe were completely at ease, simply enjoying each other's company while I gently guided them into the best light. The result was a collection of natural, timeless photographs that perfectly reflected their personalities. Celebrating with Family and FriendsThe celebrations continued with a fantastic wedding breakfast, heartfelt speeches and plenty of laughter shared between family and friends. As the evening celebrations got underway, the atmosphere became even livelier. From the emotional speeches and first dance to a packed dance floor full of energy, there were so many wonderful moments to capture. These candid photographs are often the ones couples treasure most because they reflect the genuine joy of the day. Why Pencoed House Estate is Perfect for WeddingsIt's easy to understand why Pencoed House Estate has become one of South Wales' most sought-after wedding venues.
